No root cause found? No diagnostic fee.
If I cannot identify the underlying cause, you won't be charged for the diagnostic investigation. If I identify it, I'll explain the recommended fix and agree any further work with you before proceeding.
Diagnostic investigation is free only if I cannot identify a root cause. If a cause is identified, diagnostic time is billable at the stated hourly rate, even if you choose not to proceed with a fix. Any further work is agreed in advance. Rates exclude applicable VAT.
