FAQ

Questions before you install?

Here are the most common things Shopify Partners ask before using Shopify Collab Request.
Shopify Collab Request is a Chrome extension that helps Shopify Partners request collaborator access faster. It lets you save access profiles, store collaborator codes, and launch the request workflow from one simple panel.
No. Shopify Collab Request is an independent tool created by Michael Thomas Media. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with Shopify.
Your saved store codes, access profiles, settings, and workflow preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. They are not sent to an external server by the extension.
By default, the extension helps fill the request so you can review it before sending. Automation options can be controlled inside access profiles, so you stay in control of how each request is handled.
If Shopify changes the request page, permission structure, or form layout, some autofill features may need an update. If something stops working, you can report it through the support page so it can be reviewed.
